Future Leaders of Jamaica

Who:

Future Leaders of Jamaica is comprised of business professionals, corporate sponsors, and volunteers invested in creating educational opportunities and pathways for at-risk children to pursue their professional aspirations. We strive to address the socio-economic challenges faced by more than 800,000 youth, approximately 30 percent of the population living in Jamaica, of which the majority live below the poverty line. 

What:

Future Leaders of Jamaica provides scholarships to primary and high school students in significant financial need who demonstrate a commitment to learning, community service, and academic excellence in the face of adversity. 

Our Impact:

In anticipation of the 2019-2020 school year, the Osei Rubie Charitable Fund donated $5,000 to award six students with academic scholarships increasing the total number of recipients from 36 to 42. Grade 10 students were also provided with laptops.
